Endowment Giving

Endowment Giving

Because we rely on individual donors and foundations for the vast majority of our annual income, a financially sound future is as important as the present. Donor gifts can be designated for immediate use or can be placed into an “endowment fund” for investment and future use.

Endowments gifts are an investment in the future of an organization. The donor’s original gift is invested, remains there and grows in perpetuity, and provides valuable funds that support important work in the future. And endowment gift to Save The Bay is an investment in the future of Narragansett Bay and in Save The Bay’s advocacy, restoration, education and stewardship work.

Giving to an endowment is a thoughtful decision. When an organization has an endowment, that says the organization has passionate donors who believe the mission is so important that it will be needed well into the future.
