Come help clean up Stillhouse Cove in Cranston, hosted by Save The Bay and the Edgewood Waterfront Preservation Association! Shoreline trash is ugly and dangerous to wildlife, and shoreline cleanups are an easy way for volunteers to make a difference. In addition to trash cleanup, this event will include invasive weed removal, garden work with the Edgewood Garden Club, and maintenance activities such as storm drain clearing, and sidewalk sweeping after the winter sanding and salting.

All supplies will be provided including water, gloves, trash bags, bug spray, sunscreen, and tools. All volunteers should dress for the weather and wear clothes they don’t mind getting dirty. Closed-toed shoes are required. All volunteers must be able to do some light to moderate bending and lifting. Volunteers under 16 must participate with an adult. Volunteers must have their own transportation to the event. All volunteers are encouraged to bring their own reusable gloves, water bottle and snacks to the cleanup event.

You can use 1524 Narragansett Blvd, Cranston, RI as an approximate address for GPS for this site. See MAP. Parking is not permitted on Narragansett Blvd but is available on the side streets.
