WHAT: Come participate in the International Coastal Cleanup at Fort Wetherill with Save The Bay and CORE Diving! Shoreline trash is ugly and dangerous to wildlife, and shoreline cleanups are an easy way for volunteers to make a difference. We will pick up trash and record what we find on data sheets. The resulting data will be included in the Ocean Conservancy’s annual report on marine debris.
WHERE: 3 Fort Wetherill Rd, Jamestown, RI 02835. This address will get you to the park entrance. Continue along Fort Wetherill Rd, ignoring turn offs, until you get to the end of the road. See map for exact meeting site.
