Come help clean up Collier Point in Providence, a hidden little park not far from the hurricane barrier. This is an after-work cleanup – don’t worry if you can’t get there exactly at 5!

Shoreline trash is ugly and dangerous to wildlife, and shoreline cleanups are an easy way for volunteers to make a difference. Save The Bay will provide the trash bags and disposable gloves. All volunteers should dress for the weather and wear clothes they don’t mind getting dirty. Closed-toed shoes are required. All volunteers must be able to do some light to moderate bending and lifting. Volunteers under 16 must participate with an adult. Volunteers must have their own transportation to the event. All volunteers are encouraged to bring their own reusable gloves, water bottle and snacks to the cleanup event.

Meet at Collier Point Park. 2 Henderson St, Providence, RI is an approximate GPS address. Henderson St is located off of Allens Ave, where Rt 95/195 crosses overhead.
