Seal Watch FAQ
Our Nature + Seal Cruises run out of Westerly, RI and run October through December at Viking Marine. Our Seal Tours run out of Newport, RI November through April at Bowens Ferry Landing. Tours are mostly on weekends, but also run on holidays and school vacations. Times vary due to scheduling around low tide (the best condition to view seals).
Seals are migratory animals and are only here fall through early spring. Join us on a tour to find out where they spend their summer months!
In Westerly, parking is available at the Viking Marina parking lot. In Newport, there is some street parking along Market Square and nearby streets, but we always recommend leaving ample time to find parking. During busy days, we recommend parking at the Public Lot at Discover Newport (about a 10 minute walk).

On the day of your trip, save paper! You do not need to print out a ticket – your name will appear on our electronic roster.
Yes, each participant needs their own. We would prefer you filling it out beforehand, you can download it here (provide the public program form). If you don’t have the chance to do so before, we will have them at check in.
