2027 Strategic Pillar: Advocacy
Save The Bay’s 2027 Strategic Plan focuses on three primary pillars: education, advocacy and DEI. As an advocacy organization, Save The Bay’s advocacy efforts include both our policy and our habitat restoration work along, not only Narragansett Bay, but throughout the watershed and into Massachusetts. The goals and strategies identified in our 2027 Strategic Plan will allow us to strengthen the impact of these efforts by:
- Implementing restoration, water quality and climate resilience strategies, while sharpening our geographic focus
- Advocating for effective government enforcement and oversight
- Defending the Bay against threats and challenges, while championing sound legislation, policy and governance
- Increasing habitat restoration project capacity
