Prudence Island Tours
Have you visited the pristine habitat in the middle of Narragansett Bay? Come join us for an exciting excursion to beautiful Prudence Island!
About our Prudence Island trips
Prudence is one of Narragansett Bay’s hidden treasures, home to some of the nicest beaches, hiking, and bird watching in the area. Trips depart from historic Newport or Providence and take just under an hour to reach the southern tip of Prudence Island. We dock at the Narragansett Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (NBNERR), where passengers have their choice of joining a guided hike with a NBNERR staff member, going on a self-guided hike, or simply exploring and enjoying the beach and island on their own.
Fun for the whole family!
Save the Bay educators will also have a fun interactive family zone on the beach helping some of our younger passengers explore the interesting tidal waters of Prudence Island!
