As our signature event, the annual Save The Bay Swim raises funds that support our efforts to protect, restore, explore and connect people to Narragansett Bay and its watershed.

“It’s great to see such positive support especially in an economy that is not so favorable. It makes my swim training that much more meaningful to know that people are willing to support such a great cause.”
~ Julie Batcho (1st year swimmer from Newport)

2010 marks Save The Bay's 40th anniversary, so this Swim will be part of a year-long celebration of the Bay. Be a part of the fun! Remember, the Swim is about more than just swimming. It's a community effort toward preserving Rhode Island's most precious resource. And it's the strength of our numbers -- number of participants, volunteers, sponsors, dollars raised -- that keeps it going.

NEW! Check out this year's Swimmer Spotlight, Win Wilson.

Want to win some awesome fundraising prizes? Submit $400 in sponsorship pledges by August 13 to be eligible.
