  • 16,000 pre-cast concrete panels placed as base liner, each weighing 12,500 lbs
  • 65,000,000-gallon storage capacity

Tunnel Boring Machine:

  • 690 tons
  • 30 feet tall
  • 255 feet long
  • Average mining: 42 linear feet/day

Tunnel Pump Station:

  • 60' x 110' x 110' subterranean cavern
  • Eight 12,500 gpd pumps to bring CSO flow to Fields Point WWTF for treatment
  • Over 1000 miles of electrical wire used for pump control and automation
