The event is FREE and open to the public and includes:

  • A Farmer's Market where you can buy local honey, cheese, seedlings, and produce
  • Native plants, environmentally friendly yard care products and rain barrels for sale
  • Soil testing from URI Master Gardeners. Learn why to test your soil pH and
    how to take a sample.
  • Local experts talking about: 
    • Combating Invasive Plants
    • Managing Pests Organically
    • Composting with Worms

Workshop Volunteers

Volunteers are needed to help with event set-up, registration, snack preparation, raffles and cleanup. Once you’re done with your job and waiting for the next, you can feel free to attend any of the workshop sessions. Volunteers will be needed from 8:15 a.m. to approximately 12:30 pm.
