Bay Adventures

bay adventures ri save the bay

Responsible tourism is about respecting the environment, learning about regional culture, and contributing towards our local economy. Each one of Save The Bay’s tours encompasses all of this and more. Proceeds are used toward educating our youth about Narragansett Bay.

Lighthouse Tours (departs Providence and Newport)

Rose Island

Save The Bay's Lighthouse Tours are the ONLY cruises on Narragansett Bay that include a stop to tour the inside of a lighthouse. We'll provide the binoculars, but bring your camera! You won't want to miss this trip of a lifetime!

Save The Bay offers four (4) different lighthouse tours:

Prudence Island Tours (departs Newport)

Have you visited the pristine habitat in the middle of Narragansett Bay? Come join us for an exciting excursion to beautiful Prudence Island!

Trips from historic Newport and Providence arrive at the Narragansett Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (NBNERR) on Prudence Island, where passengers can join a NBNERR-guided hike or explore the beach and island on their own.

Save The Bay educators have an interactive family zone on the beach to help the younger passengers explore the interesting tidal waters of Prudence Island!

This is a perfect trip for all ages, especially adults interested in the marine environment, as well as our future scientists!
