For children who have completed grades K-3, Save The Bay offers Junior BayCamp at our Newport Exploration Center and Providence Bay Center. Campers will explore Narragansett Bay along the shoreline and learn about different Bay habitats, including sandy beaches, rocky shores, salt marshes and eelgrass.
These are all half-day camps, from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm. Each day is filled with Bay-themed activities, lessons, games and crafts. Come spend a week with us!

Rates
Save The Bay Family Members: $125
Non-Members: $150 Become a member now! Again this year, we are offering camp scholarships to children of lower income families. Children will be eligible to attend any of our BayCamps, offered in five locations throughout Rhode Island and Connecticut. If the preferred camp session is full, we will offer other options to the applicant. *Scholarship monies are limited, and applications are processed on a first come, first served basis. Incomplete forms (missing documents) will automatically result in an invalid application. Submitting an application and meeting all the criteria does not guarantee a scholarship for an applicant. Please review the scholarship qualifications and requirements. Then download and complete the Financial Assistance Form.
