The Edgewood Sailing School has been teaching children and adults the skills and etiquette of sailing and racing since 1956. Over the past couple of summers, the sailing school and Save The Bay have joined forces to offer a different kind of summer camp.

The day begins at the Edgewood Yacht Club where kids receive sailing lessons right on the upper Bay. From there, they ride over to the Save The Bay Center to explore the marine science of Narragansett Bay for the second half of the day. This portion of the camp is filled with Bay exploration, games, crafts and activities, including learning about the animals, habitats and ecosystems of Narragansett Bay. It is a great way to create well-balanced Bay stewards at a very young age.
