Is this cool, or what? For girls and boys who have completed grades 3-8, BayCamp combines the beauty of Narragansett Bay with the fascinating world of marine and aquatic science. (Younger kids can check out Junior BayCamp.) During our unique, week-long day camp Save The Bay will ensure that your child has fun, is safe and comes away with a greater understanding of and appreciation for the Bay and its watershed.
We create games, crafts and activities that make learning about our natural environment fun. All campers get a chance to explore the Bay along the shoreline and aboard M/V Swift. Campers visit different islands in Narragansett Bay and explore various shorelines and habitats including: sandy and rocky beaches, salt marshes and eelgrass beds. Shoreline explorations may involve seining, scavenger hunts, netting, swimming, snorkeling and games.

Join us for our 15th year of BayCamp! Camp runs daily from 9-4. There are three scheduled boat days, as well as a canoeing day. The final day will be for campers to create presentations demonstrating what they've learned and to have a picnic lunch with their parents (with a 1:00 pm dismissal). What Parents Need To Know.

Again this year, we are offering camp scholarships to children of lower income families. Children will be eligible to attend any of our BayCamps, offered in five locations throughout Rhode Island and Connecticut. If the preferred camp session is full, we will offer other options to the applicant. *Scholarship monies are limited, and applications are processed on a first come, first served basis. Incomplete forms (missing documents) will automatically result in an invalid application. Submitting an application and meeting all the criteria does not guarantee a scholarship for an applicant.
Please review the scholarship qualifications and requirements. Then download and complete the Financial Assistance Form. Contact Rupa Datta at education@savebay.org or 401-272-3540, x133 with any questions on financial assistance.
