NEVER approach a stranded seal!

It's the law. Call the experts. In Rhode Island and Connecticut, call the Mystic Aquarium at 860-572-5955. In Massachusetts, call 617-973-5247 or the Cape Cod Stranding Network at 508-743-9548.

Kayakers, boaters and beach strollers need to know that Narragansett Bay seals are protected by federal law. They are extremely sensitive creatures. Irresponsible human behavior can disturb animals, destroy important habitats and even result in injury to animals and people. Know the NOAA Seal Watching Guidelines
